Welcome to the site of UNESCO's Chair of Cultural Tourism, jointly organized by Untref/Aamnba (University Tres de Febrero/Association of Friends of the National Museum of Fine Arts).

Our goal is to be a meeting place and an exchange forum for all persons and institutions that share concerns and activities related to the preservation and promotion of our region and the world's cultural and natural heritage.

With the creation of this Chair, the University and the  Association, sponsored by UNESCO, take on the responsibility of working to provide training, information, documentation and research in the field of cultural tourism, both in Argentina and Latin America.

We hope this site will be useful as a platform for the dissemination of best practices for cultural tourism endeavors, and may contribute to motivate and train all stakeholders in this activity that plays an increasingly significant role as a driver of development in the 21st century.
